These homeowners upgraded their covered patio to include an outdoor fireplace.

We are fortunate enough in this business to enjoy repeat customers both whether they  have worked with on a specific residence or have moved and want an outdoor structure at their new residence. In many cases we get the opportunity to work with homeowners on improving and adding-to an existing outdoor structure. Some examples are turning a deck into a screen porch, or upgrading an existing structure to a new level of outdoor living enjoyment adding an outdoor kitchen, outdoor fireplace, or fire pit.

We recently completed one such upgrade for homeowners we had previously designed and constructed a covered patio for. They contacted Archadeck of Fort Worth and requested we add an outdoor fireplace to their covered patio. On the initial addition of the covered patio we were able to seamlessly integrate the design into the home with a hip roof and  by matching the bricks perfectly to the residence.

An outdoor fireplace is the perfect complimentary addition to a covered patio and we were able to harmonize and integrate the new outdoor fireplace into the covered patio. Both the patio and the newly added outdoor fireplace look original to the home.  The ability to create originality and  keep the integrity of your outdoor project true to your home’s design are sought after traits to look for in a builder. Another key aspect to consider when thinking of adding a covered patio or other outdoor structure is whether “phased building” is a viable option.

Phased building consists of designing your ultimate backyard plan and building different phases of it over a period of time. Phased building is perfect for homeowners who have a second project in mind for the future, or a later phase project that allows for laying the foundation, cables, wires, etc. to anticipate that project. Phased building allows the homeowner to progress as they and their budget sees fit.

These homeowners took advantage of a phased building process and are glad that they did. Now they have the perfect spot to cozy up by the fireplace built right into their already stunning covered patio. Imagine the possibilities you can obtain with phased building on your next outdoor project-for today and tomorrow.
